Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty Tahr" has cairo 1.13.0~20140204-0ubuntu1.1 and
Ubuntu 15.04 "Vivid Vervet" has cairo 1.14.2-2ubuntu2.
Can you test with one of these versions and see if this issue is
resolved?
