Public bug reported: Hello,
Few months ago I found a bug in linux kernel (kvm subsystem). This bug causes a KVM guest crush with error code 31. I reported that bug to [email protected] and got following replay: http://www.spinics.net/lists/kvm/msg119265.html Is there a chance to apply the patch fixing KVM bug to linux-lts-utopic, linux-lts-vivid? Now that patch is already in 4.3 kernel and proposed for 3.14, 4.1 and 4.2 kernel trees. https://lkml.org/lkml/2015/9/19/230 https://lkml.org/lkml/2015/9/19/305 https://lkml.org/lkml/2015/9/19/342 Thanks ** Affects: linux-lts-utopic (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: linux-lts-vivid (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: kernel-bug kvm mmu ** Also affects: linux-lts-vivid (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags added: kernel-bug ** Tags added: kvm mmu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1498236 Title: KVM: unknown exit, hardware reason 31 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-utopic/+bug/1498236/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
