"oxide-renderer heavily uses /run/shm" is not a bug - in fact it's no surprise, considering that Oxide is multi-process and uses shared memory for quite a lot of things (eg, the GPU command buffer, texture uploads, resource loader to name a few of the major things that use it). If a multi-process application using shared memory confuses the OOM killer, that's not really an application bug.
