@Joseph, I went back and tried my former versions of the kernel back to 3.19.0-26-generic. But I can't really get USB to work.
Connecting an android phone leaves traces in dmesg though: [ 238.379033] usb 2-1.1: new low-speed USB device number 4 using ehci-pci [ 238.451090] usb 2-1.1: device descriptor read/64, error -32 [ 238.627144] usb 2-1.1: device descriptor read/64, error -32 [ 238.803191] usb 2-1.1: new low-speed USB device number 5 using ehci-pci [ 238.875117] usb 2-1.1: device descriptor read/64, error -32 [ 239.051166] usb 2-1.1: device descriptor read/64, error -32 [ 239.227180] usb 2-1.1: new low-speed USB device number 6 using ehci-pci [ 239.635166] usb 2-1.1: device not accepting address 6, error -32 [ 239.707167] usb 2-1.1: new low-speed USB device number 7 using ehci-pci [ 240.115213] usb 2-1.1: device not accepting address 7, error -32 [ 240.115324] usb 2-1-port1: unable to enumerate USB device -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1498355 Title: USB devices gratefully ignored To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1498355/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
