Can you please also attach a bootchart of 15.04? Otherwise we have
nothing to compare this against.
Indeed I/O really sucks -- most of the time it's between 2 and 10 MB/s,
and there's just a single peak at 23 MB/s. This would match what you'd
expect from a middle-aged rotational disk. There is virtually no CPU
utilization so everything hinges on the slow I/O. Do you still have
ureadahead installed? If not, can you give it a try?
