I wanted to install a new X.org and kernel in Xubuntu 14.04.
I used the following command:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install linux-generic-lts-vivid
xserver-xorg-lts-vivid xserver-xorg-video-all-lts-vivid
xserver-xorg-input-all-lts-vivid
The terminal shows information about the problems with dependencies and error:
