I see yours and other problems with Conky reported at the Ubuntu package
level, but you will likely need to report it to the developers of these
themes.
If you will post all of the steps to install conky and lua rings (there
seem to be a lot of conky themes and my mind reading is terrible), I can
try to duplicate.
