We don't really have a default option any more, in the case where we know the mimetype we present the user with both options, and in the case where we don't we just provide them with the download option (see https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1woHjO8K4iqyVZZlfQ4BXL0DhYbwkEmZ7wvcUhYzHDRk/edit#slide=id.gc87a1f9cb_1_0 for the relevant dialog design). I guess we could however just remove the "Choose an application" option all together, perhaps something to discuss with design?
