Also the existence of a openoffice-debian-menus package suggests you've had installed unsupported third party packages (Apache OpenOffice?) which are known to get in the way of proper Ubuntu packages. Please dont do that unless you know exactly what you are doing and how to uninstall 3rd party packages.
