Public bug reported:
I'm trying to test Ubuntu 15.10 (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-
desktop-next/daily-live/current/wily-desktop-amd64.iso) on a VirtualBox
virtual machine. Installation process has gone well and I can start the
vm. I can see some issues on the boot process and after the login screen
comes. In the login screen, I can insert the password but after I did
the screen stuck and I can only the icon to shutdown or restart the
system. I have also tried to enter as guest, but the result is the same.
Moreover the key combinations ctrl+alt+F1, F2, F7 gave me only to a
black screen with a flashing cursor and no terminal shell. I have tried
to change some value on the vm configuration, but nothing happens.
On boot process, the screen shows:
ACPI PCC probe failed
piix4_smbus 0000:00:07.0: SMBus base address uninitialized - upgrade BIOS or
use force_addr=0xaddr
