Hello Martin, or anyone else affected, Accepted python-tz into vivid-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python- tz/2014.10~dfsg1-0ubuntu2~15.04.0 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
