I plugged my graphics card into an old computer I have (Asus M2NPV-VM).
The other computer was running Ubuntu 14.04.3 with Linux version
3.13.0-63-generic (dmesg log attached).

The same display connected on the same displayport did work fine.
However, it was slow because the GPU was not yet well supported in Linux
version 3.13.

I believe My displayport problem might be BIOS related.
I think I will have to wait for a BIOS update to use my displayport again.
Until then I will use DVI ports.
