Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: restricted-manager

After installing the latest Gutsy daily image and using bcm43xx, there
are some network problems. The nm applet showed that I was connected,
but I still couldn't surf the web on firefox or get updates form update-
manager.

Many times (after a new install) the solution to this problem is simply
restarting the computer. This has worked for me and another person
(can't remember who) using the driver/cutter.

Restricted Manager should ask the user to reboot after installing the
driver to prevent them from encountering any unexpected network
problems. This should improve the user's perception about wireless in
Ubuntu.

** Affects: restricted-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
