On my SL510 I have the same loud beep when resuming from suspend. I first experienced it with 14.04 LTS and Kernel 3.16. Today a fresh install of 15.10 Beta 2 on the same hardware showed the same symptom. Resuming from suspend works in both cases. The loud beep was not present in 14.04 with Kernel 3.13.
