Thanks for response. I've created many installation disks and USB installations. All basically act the same. Wonder if I'm getting bad downloads. Can you suggest where a good, known clean download can be obtained? At one time I know it said there were bugs in the installation file I believe. Would like to get this on my old XP machine for my kids, that's why was trying edubuntu last time.
