When I try to open totem, gxine or VLC they crash immidiately...

This is not the case with (only) audio players like amaroK and Rythmbox.
All players on my PC that can play video crash, despite they are not
invoked for video files (they crash also with mp3 files).
Note: I am using Gutsy Gibbon, freshly updated.
