I’m not seeing that when running the latest trunk of webbrowser-app on my
desktop: when visiting that page, the search field is initially focused (as
expected), and the "Search Terms..." placeholder text is just that, a
placeholder that disappears when focusing the field.
I also tested on my krillin running the latest rc-proposed, and I’m not seeing
that issue.
On which device are you seeing that, and with which versions of
liboxideqtcore0 and webbrowser-app ?
