Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: debian-installer

I installed once using "erase entire disk and set up LVM" on the d-i
i386 CD 20070925.1.

Then, I booted the same disk again and selected manual partitioning. I
manually activated the lvm setup so that the LVM LVs were displayed, and
then I selected the first install's root LVM lv and asked to resize it
from 76 to 40GB. This appeared to work in the sense that it took quite
a while, but when it had finished the LVM lv was still showing as 76G
and there was no space.

I haven't had a chance to check the actual state of the LVM VG but I
will still have it for a bit if it turns out to be useful.

** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
