Please note that this bug report is 7 years old. Since then Ubuntu has switched from OO to LO. The sync of the current libreoffice-dictionaries version in Debian will be considered a fix of this bug.
I can't tell if there is a particular mechanism in place to handle the possible conflict you mention. I imagine that if you for example download hunspell-gd from the LO site, you'd better uninstall the hunspell-gd package before installing the other spellchecker. To the extent this is an issue, it's not a new issue triggered by the fix of this bug. In general, the Ubuntu distribution can't take responsibility for software which users download from external sites. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/268953 Title: [needs-packaging] provide all dictionaries available for hunspell To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language-selector/+bug/268953/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
