Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce:
- browse to e.g. http://html5demos.com/geo - wait for the modal dialog that asks for permission to access your location to show up - run a few keyboard shortcuts, like Ctrl+Tab, Ctrl+T, Ctrl+F, … Expected result: most keyboard shortcuts don’t have any effect, as the dialog is modal and prevents them (Ctrl+W/Ctrl+F4 should probably be an exception, it’s ok to request closing the current tab) Current result: all keyboard shortcuts work, so one can easily escape the current tab while still having the modal dialog in the foreground. ** Affects: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Status: Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1507468 Title: [desktop] Model dialogs don’t inhibit keyboard shortcuts To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/webbrowser-app/+bug/1507468/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
