I just download and install the last Kubuntu Gusty version ( Kubuntu Desktop
i386 (20070925.2) ) on a DELL Inspiron 6400 (WXGA+ 1680x1050).
In order to have the full resolution, I need to install the ATI driver. I used
the restricted drivers utility.
1) Not a real problem, but you need to update the repository with adept
in order to use the restricted driver manager.
2) After installing the ATI driver and rebooting, I do not have any
sound (I have sound before).
To reactive sound, I need to go to systemsettings and change the device
to Open Sound System or Threaded Open Sound System, the autodetection
didn't work anymore and the other devices didn't work.
