Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: devilspie

I'm using devilspie 0.16-1 under Edgy. I have the following rule
~/.devilspie/vim.ds

(if (is (application_name) "Vim") (begin (maximize_vertically)
(set_workspace 4)))

In my ~/.gvimrc, I have it set to open gvim with a default size of
83x60. Now, when I open gvim, the window is moved to workspace 4 and
maximized vertically, but this causes the horizontal size to change as
well, i.e. the window is then 112x63. I was expecting the window to be
maximized vertically, but for the horizontal size to stay at 83. This
might be a problem with GVIM instead, but I filed against devilspie to
be safe.

** Affects: devilspie (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
