Public bug reported:
This bug really look untidy...
It's on Edgy but not Dapper.
Steps to reproduce:
1) wait until there is a few updates in the update-manager, so that
there is more than one entry in the list.
2) open the update-manager
3) click on the "details" arrow at the bottom, to expand it and display
the change logs.
4) Now here is the bug: click on any update in the list (except the
first one), you will see the GUI "move" for a second : the list widget
shrinks a bit (and the log window expands accordingly), then it goes
back to it's normal/previous position.
Of course it's easier to understand with a screencast/video, but I couldn't
make one ! I tried with the "Istanbul" desktop recorder, but it's buggy, the
video it produces is unusable ! :-(
I tried with VMware, which has a menu option to record a video of the guest OS,
but sadly the video file can't be read with Totem (says that the "VMnc" plug-in
is not handled), nor Mplayer, nor VLC... :o(
hopefully my textual description is clear enough for you to reproduce
the bug... :-/
