Another
aptitude install kubuntu-desktop
suggests to remove kde-telepathy, which seems to work, it removes:
kde-telepathy{a} kde-telepathy-desktop-applets{u}
kde-telepathy-filetransfer-handler{u} kde-telepathy-minimal{a}
kde-telepathy-send-file{u} qml-module-org-kde-people{u}
qml-module-org-kde-telepathy{u}
but calling now
aptitude install
still tries to configure kde-config-telepathy-accounts and kaccounts-
providers, so removing those seems to work fine:
aptitude remove kde-config-telepathy-accounts kaccounts-providers
