Hey, I'm running 14.04 on an MSI GS60 <http://us.msi.com/pdf/GS60%20Ghost%20Pro-002.pdf> laptop. I can't upgrade to a newer version of Ubuntu because I need 14.04 for work. I tried installing 4.3 kernel on it and the machine is less stable (sometimes it freezes at bootup - soft lockup-CPU stuck).
Will Adam's fix work in 14.04 with one of the following kernels --> 3.19.0-25-generic or 3.19.0-31-generic? thanks, -- ben On Mon, Oct 26, 2015 at 4:25 PM, Dimitrios Matanis < [email protected]> wrote: > Hello. > > If the wifi isnt working with what you have there right now, yes. > Replace them with the files Adam suggested.
