OK, I had a similar problem with the latest version, but solved the problem:
the 15.10 netboot's pxelinux.0 can't be tftp-served from a 14.04-server, because it can't deal with the old pxechain.com. To chainload the new code, pxechn.c32 ldlinux.c32 libcom32.c32 libutil.c32 vesamenu.c32 must be available from tftp, but are not available under 14.04. So the boot server itself must be a 15.10, or these bootfiles must be manually installed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1492002 Title: 15.10 beta1 netboot code not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1492002/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
