I'm seeing the same issue on my Thinkpad X230. In addition to Unity on the stable release of 15.10, I've experienced the same problem on Ubuntu Gnome 15.10 using gnome-shell 3.16 and on Arch using gnome-shell 3.18, so could it in some way be related to this bug https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=753678, since Wily upgraded many Gnome parts to 3.16?
