I have found that the delay is related to the network-manager that is in the system tray.
I have removed the system tray from the panel. Then added digital clock, clipboard, volume control and available device widgets instead. This solves the delay. Adding the "networks" widget to the desktop or panel freezes the screens for about 40 seconds. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1509645 Title: temporary desktop freeze after login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kubuntu-meta/+bug/1509645/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
