Public bug reported:
After the Plasma 5 panel crashed* many letters in all applications
checked (Firefox, Thunderbird) disappeared. In some cases, the drop
shadows of letters did appear, but the letter above did not. I'll attach
screenshots.
Distro: Kubuntu 15.10

* The Plasma 5 panel crashed after clicking the Open All arrow on the System
Tray. The KDE bug reporting wizard did not find debug symbols to install so I
did not report it.
