Same problem here, trusty 64bit xubuntu. There are some things which I believe can be responsible for this, but not reliably reproducible:
- changing files of the displayed folder, for example deleting/creating/renaming files very frequently (>20/s) using a script - displaying a folder where files (mpeg or tar) are growing (because of recording or download) - i also recognized that when displaying a folder and use sorting and some files are selected, and then changes on the file system result in a different sorting, the selection changes to different files. maybe the cause of our creash is somewhere in this area -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/218838 Title: Thunar crashed with SIGSEGV in g_slice_alloc() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunar/+bug/218838/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
