Public bug reported: Frog is currently failing to build on Ubuntu Xenial with the following error message:
The following packages have unmet dependencies: sbuild-build-depends-frog-dummy : Depends: libtimblserver3-dev but it is not installable E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. apt-get failed. (https://launchpadlibrarian.net/222322948/buildlog_ubuntu-xenial- amd64.frog_0.12.17-7.1build2_BUILDING.txt.gz) Looked briefly at this, and it looks like the reason is that Ubuntu synced a newer version of timblserver from Debian experimental which replaced the libtimblserver3-dev package with libtimblserver4-dev. I haven't tested whether these packages would be backwards compatible and allow frog to build successfully. ** Affects: frog (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: timblserver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ftbfs wily xenial ** Also affects: timblserver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1511985 Title: Frog FTBFS on Xenial due to unmet dependency libtimblserver3-dev To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/frog/+bug/1511985/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
