I have dual booted Windows 10 64-bit with Ubuntu's latest LTS version i.e Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS (Trusty Tahr) 64 -bit, too. I've also tried all the methods but no fix for this wifi and I too came across the forum thread where they mention that my driver is not yet supported for latest kernel. Also to mention, to dual boot ubuntu and windows 10, I had to downgrade my bios version to 1.15 from 1.25 and then only I was able to install ubuntu..other it always showed blank screen at installation start even though i tried all the methods like nomodeset and all other I could find. http://community.acer.com/t5/E-and-M-Series/Acer-Aspire-e5-573g-You-can-not-install-any-one-Linux/td-p/386009 ** Attachment added: "using lsusb and lspci command output" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-utopic/+bug/1491483/+attachment/4510142/+files/problem.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1491483 Title: This wireless driver hasn't supported yet: Network controller [0280]: Qualcomm Atheros Device [168c:0042] (rev 30) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-utopic/+bug/1491483/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
