Public bug reported:

Hey everyone,

with the help of Ubuntu MATE 15.04 I successfully built a thin client
based on a Raspberry Pi 2 with AuFS to secure the home directory. But
with Ubuntu MATE 15.10 this doesn't work anymore and I wonder why.

I installed the aufs-tools package but 'modprobe aufs' says "FATAL:
Module aufs not found". Some people in different forums suggested
installing linux-image-extra-(kernel version) or linux-image-extra-
virtual, but I can't find these packages in the repos for the Raspberry.
Essentially I can't create a mount with the aufs filesystem.

Do you have any idea where I have to begin to solve this problem? As I
said before in 15.04 everything worked fine but in 15.10 I can't get
AuFS to work.
