Public bug reported:

using xchat-gnome 0.13 on edgy, when someone types "/me does something", you
only see
"* nick" and not "* nick does something". This is an translation issue which
has to be corrected, see the following strings in xchat-gnome, there are some
of them which don't seem correct:
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/dapper/+source/xchat-gnome/+pots/xchat-gnome/de/+translate?show=all&start=392

These are 10-20 strings which are not correct, here is an example:
-%C10-%C11-%O$tDCC $1 %C11$2 %Cto %C11$3 %Ctimed out - aborting.
translated to:
%C22*%O$tDCC $1%C26 $2 %Oan%C26 $3%O: Zeitüberschreitung - Abbruch.
-%C10-%C11-%O$tDCC $1 %C11$2 %Can %C11$3 %C: Zeitüberschreitung - Abbruch.

and
-%C10-%C11-%O$tConnection failed. Error: $1
translated to
%C21*%O$t%C21Verbindung gescheitert. Fehler: $1

I cannot mark them as need review unfortunately, but it took me ten
minutes to find all strings in textevents.h which look suspicious, it is
not really that hard.
