I am running Edgy on a IBM Thinkpad T42, with a 1,7 GHz Pentium M. The video card is a ATI Mobility Radeon M7, running with the radeon driver. Wireless is on and connected, using the builtin IPW2200. Bluetooth is off. - gnome-power-manager notifies me that the network connection is disconnected, and then the screen freezes.
