I tried uninstalling libsystemsettings-dev and then downloading unity8 sourcecode and "./build.sh --setup" + "./build.sh" and it compiled successfully.
@Saviq will try building it on a fresh server install, just to make sure the successful compilation is not just a consequence of a different system configuration.
