Public bug reported:
This also happens in OpenSuse Leap KDE as well as Kubuntu Wily..
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=952096
Not sure what's going on here, but this happened after a while in Leap,
and Kubuntu Wily. I created text file in folder view on desktop and
entered bug details from previously reported bug, I right clicked on
text file and selected "move to trash".
It didn't move it to trash at all. Still lists it on "folder view"
beside "Home" folder and "Trash". I'd have to logout or reboot to get it
to work. Same goes for files already in the Trash.
Emptying trash would work from time to time from "folder view" by right
clicking on it and selecting "Empty Trash". But then other times it
stopped working, and the "Trash can" still appears "red" in color / not
emptied. I know there's files in there to delete / remove, but it's not
emptying the Trash can/bin.
I'd have to logout or reboot to get it to work. And clicking on it to
open it up to see files don't work either sometimes, when it appears to
be sticking. I'd get notifications in bottom taskbar for "Examining". If
I tried opening the trash bin/can 4 times, there would be 4 instances of
"Examining" below in taskbar. I'd stop the "examining" processes, and it
don't work either. I'd have to logout or reboot to get "Trash" to work.
The "Trash can" is still red, and I know there's files in there to
remove, but can't do anything with it until I reboot or logout and back
in.
