but the length of the noise should be configurable; some 15 years ago I have
had an old mobile which spent the rest of the energy in playing the warning :-)

I suppose it might beep (configurable sound?) once at 10%, then at 5% and after
that every 10 minutes, by default. With an option for beeping every 20, 10, 5
and 2 minutes after the 5% mark.
All this when the screen is off, of course. A visual cue should be
enough if the screen is on.
