Public bug reported: Woke up to find my krillin retail device on OTA-7 battery almost dead. I unplugged it when I went to bed last night, so it discharged completely in ~10 hours.
http://people.canonical.com/~alan/screenshots/device-2015-11-06-083113.png ssh'ed in and found mediascanner consuming some CPU time (I haven't changed the media on the device for some time). Checking the logs (attached) it looks like this has been happening for days. Due to UOS and other things I've not used this phone much over the past week, so it's juts been sat there dying until I plug it in. mediascanner log attached. I don't think this is bug 1508142 because I checked and I have no webm files on the device, and it doesn't seem to be scanning, just starting and dying. ** Affects: mediascanner2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "mediascanner-2.0_full.log.gz" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1513756/+attachment/4514051/+files/mediascanner-2.0_full.log.gz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1513756 Title: Mediascanner looping constantly causing battery exhaustion To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mediascanner2/+bug/1513756/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
