So i booted into the installer again, and this time, i chose 'Continue Testing' after the installation.
And i captured the /var/log/installer files. There were 2 of them, 'debug' (282 lines) and 'version' (1 line). I'll attempt to attach them. Also, after i chose 'Continue Testing', this message came up, which i had not seen before: We're sorry; the installer crashed. After you close this window, we'll allow you to file a bug report using the integrated bug reporting tool. This will gather information about your system and your installation process. The details will be sent to our bug tracker and a developer will attend to the problem as soon as possible. So i let it send in a bug report, which is 1514149, but no doubt redundant to this.
