Public bug reported:

My steps were following:

1. Installing Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on fresh laptop with WIndows 8
2. Using "try before install" option, then run interactive installer
3. On "Allocate drive space" step, I decided to set up my own partitions. One
of them was encrypted.
4. I changed my mind (!)
5. Tried to boot into windows again - but volume was already formatted in ext4!

What I've expected:

Disk space utility has confirmation about losing data, but later. If
some of those steps can't be done without writing on disk, user should
be warned about it.

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Summary changed:

- Erasing volume while setting up encryption
+ Erasing volume without warning while setting up encryption
