My exact situation concerns another usb modem from ZTE - MF110 I wanted to mention that it worked pretty well under KUbuntu 15.04 (NetworkManager 0.9.7).
Furthermore, after trying the first connect sequence the device cannot be polled for signal monitoring. At least, does anyone have a clue how to override the usb_modeswitch.d so I can utilise the device like before ? I am not the single one affected and I can provide, if requested, some info/logs about another ZTE usb modem model that is experiencing the same problems after upgrading to 15.10 Regards, Ștefan ** Attachment added: "output from: $ lsusb -v -d 19d2:0016" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-modeswitch/+bug/1514229/+attachment/4515783/+files/lsusb_-v_-d_19d2_0016.output -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1514229 Title: ZTE WCDMA modem not identified correctly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-modeswitch/+bug/1514229/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
