Public bug reported: Under configure date & time, Time Zone, Australia/Brisbane is listed as "AEDT". Brisbane (And in fact Queensland) does not observe daylight savings. It should be listed as "AEST"..
See: http://www.australia.gov.au/about-australia/facts-and-figures/time- zones-and-daylight-saving Additionally, Perth (Australia/Perth) shows as "AWDT", which isn't actually a real timezone (Western Australia has only ever had trials of Daylight savings -- they are not heat affected enough to think they need more daylight) -- they should be AWST (as per the government link I supplied) System Settings: 4.11.11 KDE Development Platform: 4.13.3 Qt: 4.8.6 Ubuntu: 14.04.3 LTS ** Affects: kde-systemsettings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1514633 Title: SystemSettings display wrong timezone for Brisbane To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kde-systemsettings/+bug/1514633/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
