Public bug reported:

A system being certified hangs hard when a VGA monitor is plugged in.
The machine has a built-in DP MST bridge, but the driver has no support
for MST. Upstream recently added a patch to add support for it, and it
improves the situation that there's no hang anymore. Monitor still stays
blank but that'll need another SRU once a patch for it is available.
