I've updated the BIOS to version A08

tud254222 ~$ sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s 
bios-release-date
A08

... but it does not address the issue: The SD card still cannot be found, even 
after taking it out and re-inserting.
Same messages in dmesg as previously noted:

I've retested with the same kernels as in post #4, no change in
behaviour of the SD card.
