Public bug reported:
The current and actually old Thunar package in Ubuntu 14.04 does not
allow expanding directories in the tree pane. I very much like in Thunar
to have the tree pane expand and follow the selection in the right pane.
The current version of Thunar (1.6.3) in Ubuntu 14.04 has a bug that
prevents that from happening. It seems that the bug was fixed in a newer
version (16.5) of Thunar (conform to
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunar/+bug/1424774). Can we
please get a more recent version of Thunar in Ubuntu 14.04?
