Public bug reported:

So I built a new rig and tried to put Wily Werewolf 15.10 on it.

ASRock X99 Extreme 11
Intel 5960X
32-GB RAM
Samsung 256GB NVME M.2
nVidia 980Ti

The default ubuntu disk partitioning is terrible for modern computers (msdos
partition table, seriously?) so I used gparted to make the following partition
scheme:
command:
gparted /dev/nvme0n1

GPT Partition Table
BiosGrub on /dev/nvme0n1p1 128mb
ext4 boot on /dev/nvme0n1p2 2048mb
swap on /dev/nvme0n1p3 33000mb
lvmpv2 /dev/nvme0n1p4 180gb

Then in KLVM
I create a volume group
vg0
and two logical volumes
/dev/mapper/vg0-root 60gb
/dev/mapper/vg0-home 60gb

Then choose Do Something Else in the installer
everything is detected and allows me to attach the filesystems to the
partitions.
I choose format for the two lvm logical volumes

Then I get the dialog telling me that the installer will write the partitions
then I get a weird error
There is a problem unmounting /dev/cdrom
Would you like the installer to try to unmount it.
but /dev/cdrom was not mounted!

Then the installer shows a full progress bar and shows Filesytems are
being detected.

I've left it this way for an hour and it's still stuck on this dialog.
(see the screenshot.

What should have happend:
The installer should have continued and finished the installation.
