This bug was reproducible when only set a few minutes ahead. I've just
retested (on OTA-7), and it is now working as expected. I think the >18
hours was mentioned before as a deliberate design. So, this bug is
fixed; if you disagree with the >18 hours thing, that should be reported
in a new bug.
