Public bug reported:
When one starts typing recipient email address in Thunderbird new message
window an address autocomplete list appears offering some suitable variants for
first typed letter. After pressing second key that list gets clipped to just
several pixels in height, making that feature useless.

After some research I realized that affected Xubuntu themes are: Bluebird,
Greybird and Raleigh.
Moreover, affected Thunderbird versions are 38.x
My distro is Xubuntu 14.04.3 64-bit
