I removed the package and noticed no problem.

BUT why did a package developed for the Ubuntu Phone appear on my
workstation?

If the goal is convergence between phone and desktop, I think that it
would be wiser to make desktop applications work on the phone rather
porting phone applications to the desktop.

Example : on my desktop, I use VLC for multimedia and on the phone you
have 2 applications that does not work as well (one for videos and one
for music)... And even if I install VLC on the phone, it does not appear
in the applications and can't be launched from terminal (display
problem)
